Spain continued their impressive run at Euro 2024 with a routine 1-0 victory over Albania on Monday, securing top spot in Group B with a perfect record of three wins from three. Despite making several changes to their starting lineup, Spain showed little sign of weakness, dominating possession and creating numerous chances.
The only goal of the game came in the 25th minute, when Pablo Sarabia fired home from close range after a neat exchange of passes with Gavi. Albania offered little in response, with Spain's defense remaining resolute throughout the match.
The victory means Spain will face the runner-up from Group A in the knockout stages, while Albania have been eliminated from the tournament after finishing bottom of the group with no points.
